Kingsbury High School * Class of 1959 * 50-Year Reunion
Dear Kingsbury Class-of-1959 Classmates,
The Kingsbury 1959 Class Reunion is now set. This year marks the 50th year since our graduation. I think that getting reacquainted will be a most enjoyable time. The reunion will not be complete without
your attendance. We are going to invite as many of our teachers as we can locate. Also, if you know a graduate from another class that would like to attend, invite them.
The schedule will be as follows.
September 25, 2009 (Friday)
1:00pm : Tour Kingsbury High School with the principal.
6:00pm : Banquet at the Butcher Shoppe, 107 S. Germantown Road, Memphis, TN.
September 26, 2009 (Saturday)
1:00pm : Gather at Buckhead Creek Recreation Complex, 8300 Highway 70 (Summer Avenue), Memphis, TN 38002.
4:00pm : Picnic catered by Back Yard Burgers.
The banquet will start with appetizers. Then we will have a choice of filet mignon, ribeye steak, salmon or chicken with baked potato, salad and great desserts.
Jack Eaton, former WMC-TV sports broadcaster (Great Scott!) will give his perspective on the school in a 15-minute speech. Also, there will be an open mike for anyone to address the class.

We are requesting that everyone submit a biography or anything else they would like to say, such as what the school meant to them not to exceed 3/4 of a page. Also, we would like to have a picture of you or your family. The submission can be via e-mail or by postal mail to Kingsbury 50 Year Reunion, P.O. Box 341042, Bartlett, TN 38184-1042. We will create a booklet with all the responses we receive. If for some reason you cannot attend the reunion, please send us your biography and we will send you a copy of the booklet. This will be a great keepsake. There is a possibility that we will create a CD in addition to the booklet.
Cost for the banquet and the picnic is $75.00 per person. We want you and your spouse or friend to come. We hope that you can attend both days. If you cannot attend both days the price of the banquet is $60.00 per person and the cost of the picnic is $15.00 per person.
Please respond with a commitment sometime within the next 30 days as to whether you can come and are you bringing someone. We need your money by July 31, 2009.
