Alumni Association in Memphis!
Your Association
consists of graduates of Kingsbury High School and has an elected Board of
Directors and committees that oversee the business and functions that go into
making a successful alumni group. We
conduct a yearly golf tournament to generate funds for a scholarship program or
to provide assistance to individual alumni or family members, students, or faculty
members of Kingsbury High School. Meetings are generally held once a month (from Oct-June) at 7:00
pm at a private home. All meetings are
open for you to visit anytime! Come
join us and experience the fun of our meetings and reunion get-togethers.

Since 1999 the KHS Alumni Association Scholarship / Assistance Golf
Tournament has awarded
scholarships and aid to the following individuals.
1999
= $3,000:
1. Brett Collins $1000 The University of Memphis, son of Mike (68) and
Shelia (Bradford) Collins (67)
2. Lauren Nevels $1000 The University of Tennessee, daughter of Dale Nevels
(68).
3. Ashley Hanna $1000 The
University of Memphis, daughter of Trish (Bradford) Hanna (64).
In addition we contributed $100 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Joy D. Wagner - $1,000; The University of Memphis English major,
wants to teach high school. Joy
received the newly established Thelma Nichols Memorial Scholarship 2000. Joy is the daughter of Joe and Paula
(Delashmit) Wagner (1971) of Bartlett.

Susan Herndon - $1,000; The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)
Business Management. She receives the
newly instituted John Crothers Memorial Scholarship 2000. Susan is the daughter of 2 KHS graduates - James
B. Herndon (1970) and Judy (Prichard) Herndon (1971).

We are constantly seeking current addresses (phone numbers)
of any and all graduates from any year. If you know of missing or hard to find
classmates (especially the ladies!), OR the deaths of any graduates, please
contact Shelia (Bradford) Collins at 386-3744 or someone on the Board and give us a lead on the whereabouts of
someone we might be looking for so that we can notify them.

do? Not coming? You Can Still Help Out!!
If you cannot attend
but would like to send a donation to the scholarship fund any amount
would be much appreciated. Donate in
memory of a loved one, a classmate, or in honor of someone special! If you would like to be removed from our
mailing list; email, mail us a postcard or letter stating your wishes this
will save a great amount of time and postage.
